A nutritionist can provide guidance on how to manage and treat problems such as overweight and obesity, high blood pressure, dyslipidaemia, diabetes, gout, iron deficiency anaemia, food allergies, inflammatory bowel disease, functional stomach problems and coeliac disease. Patients who suffer from cancer or eating disorders, senior citizens and athletes can also benefit from a nutritionist’s guidance.
As a private customer, you can seek help from a nutritionist without a referral. The Social Insurance Institution (Kela) does not reimburse private customers for nutritionist services at this stage. If you are referred by your occupational physician or occupational health nurse, you are entitled to a SII reimbursement (KL1).
Licensed nutritionists are highly trained healthcare professionals. They are also registered and supervised by the authorities. Diacor’s nutritionists have additional qualifications for working within the field of occupational healthcare.
Make an appointment with a nutritionist online or by calling 09 7750 800. If you are an occupational health customer, you need a referral by your occupational physician or occupational health nurse.
