Diabetes specialist nurse services

Diabetes requires daily treatments, such as blood sugar measurements and insulin administration. The diabetes nurse teaches you how to manage your diabetes and administer your medication.

Diabetes is a chronic disease which is caused by a blood sugar balance disorder. Typical symptoms include increased urination, thirst, involuntary weight loss and fatigue. The disease must be diagnosed by a health care professional through a blood sugar test.

At Diacor, diabetes is treated by a multi-professional team. During different stages of the treatment process, the patient can meet with physicians, diabetes specialist nurses, nutritionists, physiotherapists and psychologists as necessary.

The diabetes specialist nurse gives advice on medication, diet and lifestyle choices. In addition to this, the diabetes nurse monitors the treatment and medication.

When visiting us, you can also schedule your next appointments.
