Diacor expands to Kannelmäki |
|
Diacor is involved in the 3rd-stage construction project of the HOK-Elanto shopping centre in the district of Kannelmäki. Work will begin in August 2011, and the new extension will be completed in time for the Christmas season in 2013. The 2nd-stage construction project included the largest Prisma supermarket built in Finland to date. "Many of our medical centres are adjacent to shopping centres, for instance at Iso Omena and Sello in Espoo, at Itäkeskus in Helsinki, at Flamingo in Vantaa and at Kirsikka in Kirkkonummi. Shopping centres are excellently placed and are thus good locations for medical centres too. Kannelmäki is a very good fit with our plans to expand the range of services we offer to private customers," says Anni Vepsäläinen, Managing Director of Diacor. The new medical centre will have a floor area of about 1,200 sq.m, and it will be on the third floor of the shopping centre."Kannelmäki will be a good addition to our services in western Helsinki, particularly in occupational health. Even now, we have the most comprehensive network of medical centres in the Helsinki metropolitan area," says Vepsäläinen.
Diacor terveyspalvelut Oy is a Finnish company wholly owned by the Helsinki Deaconess Institute Foundation. Its purpose is to promote health and to provide medical services. Diacor operates 13 medical centres in the Helsinki metropolitan area and a hospital in Ruoholahti in Helsinki. We are systematically revising our range of services for private and occupational health care customers, aiming to lead the way in private Finnish health care services. We value people and do good.
